the idea is to open filerequester by default in directory where active tab is located (IrfanView style)

also same behavior in Open file would be usefull ...

Are you asking for new separate menu items or a change in behaviour of the existing menu items?

personally existing behavious, i see no reason to work otherwise
if not , the extra option "Save as (original)" maybe be nice , as exist in a few other programs like irfanview and others
