Very slow GetDirectoryEntry

Ok, so this was caused by the fact that APKs automatically compress all assets by default. This makes reading from them very slow in case the data is read in very small chunks (as it is done by the TrueType font loader which mostly reads byte per byte). I've now added an option to disable compression to the APK Compiler. This solves the issue. A new version of APK Compiler will follow soon...

  disabling compression can speed up projects that read lots of data in small pieces (like lots of single
  byte reads); this will be very slow because the data needs to be decompressed as it is read; for example,
  using fonts linked to your applet is very slow with compressed applets because the TrueType font engine
  parses the font structure byte by byte instead of reading in larger chunks; this can be greatly sped up
  by just using the new "Disable compression" option
